Ready to Burn wood is Government certified to be amongst the cleanest fuels for burning at home, complying with Air Quality (Domestic Solid Fuels Standards) (England) Regulations 2020.

About us

Old Gwernyfed is our 16th century home and Gwernyfed Wood is sourced solely from the 200 acre woodland which forms part of our estate. We harvest the wood under our Sustainable Woodland Management Scheme and transport it to our yard, only 1 mile away, where it is processed into logs, wood chip, wood chunks or kindling and then kiln dried in our own biomass kiln to an average moisture content guaranteed to be under 20%.
